Which leads me to my next series of topics.
Its been needing completed since 2014, successfully cleaned out my shed got rid of mouse nests and cardboard boxes. All this in an evening after work. Plastic totes were accumulated over the last year, then fabric stored in my front bedroom for most of 2016. Though after the massive clean out here last week 2017, my extensive textile collection has been relocated to the shed. My sewing room/storage room which is majority cleaned out to make room.
My cats love new spaces, especially ones they are not allowed. Thrilled doesn't begin to describe their enthusiasm that this space is open for their leisure. The window in the room is occupied constantly to their contentment. Successfully typing on my desk from the front bedroom, its rather nice. All set up like an office but still in transition for finding new homes for certain items. A decades worth of old bills, taxes, and prior work information lies in the middle of the floor. This over the next week, will be nightly shredded after being sorted.
No rest of the wicked, I completed another panel of the unicorn tapestry needlepoint kits. This is Dimensions 2128 circa 1980 discontinued kit, this has taken me quite some time to complete. Will make a linen lining and loops like the other two, though this time in a rich red. The other two are on the wall above me looking awesome.
Reorganized the loom supplies in the kitchen, including the spinning supplies in the living room, also the embroidery supplies also in the living room. I threw out more cardboard in my storage linen area, other misc trash, unwanted and unsaleable
items. At the least the sorting had to happen regardless. because it was daunting being under so much stuff, much not needed. Its freeing knowing where things are in the totes now. Managed to get my Halloween items out so that can be done this week too. Also have the doll-making items tucked near by to do some work on that project here soon. Some small fun with the work.
