So I took out my spare sewing machine I had bought from my prior next door neighbors. Not all sewing machine are created equal. I spent the afternoon sewing on my spare sewing machine with my two feline assistants at hand.. It’s a Simplicity Seammaster, I believe circa 70’s vintage. I think this is a far better quality made machine. It has about the same amount of stitch settings, bobbin filling and other standard features. Comparable to my other machine..
Although this seammaster allows easy access to change the lightbulb and other inner workings. The designer was on the ball with this one. A mostly metal with little plastic, fairly certain this may last me more than a decade. Here is to a sewful relationship.
