Well I have collected some wool at a surplus outlet. So I have a blue, purple, violet, yellow, orange, tan and a patterned black all for less than $20. Didn’t need much since this was all for dolls, purchased 1/4 yard of each. I have pieces of red, black and grey cabbage at home. Although may need a good dark green since this color are common in medieval clothing. Working on procuring the other colors. I was also thinking if things wanted to be lined in silk or wool add some variety since I have a whole stash of silk in solids and patterns. All the cool fabric colors and pattern possibilities will make some neat dolls.
On other miniature news I am entering my doll based on the 1577 portrait of Arabella Stuart in Kingdom Arts and Sciences championship. I think it’s my best rendering so far from portrait to object. Hoping I do well here is to hard work and perseverance.
Neat things on the Horizon,
THL Marrin O’Cadhla
