I have been meaning to find away to organize patterns for human size clothing along with doll patterns. It’s tricky as space is more premium since family passing and inheritances. Although it just means my Tetris skills are just going to have to take it the next level. So I moved a wooden bookcase in my bedroom organized with books about doll, Renaissance clothing, miniature embroidery, miniature lace making and history of fabric. Along with sewing baskets, knitting, Liberty sewing box, stitch witchery hat, and wooden knitting needles to give the shelves some interest.
Freed up wall space in the basement so I can put the pattern library up against a sturdy spot. Right behind the sewing machine with space for opening drawers. So I put some styrofoam boxes I have received for medication. It helps make a barrier between the floor and the bottom of the cases. Hoping it keeps the dampness at bay, will put silica packs in just to give some extra protection. The items from the bookcase for on top of the cases so that works nicely.
So hoping to get things labeled and will fit on these four, 3 wide drawer Sterilite stands. They do seem sturdy and like their totes for storing fabric. Will see fingers crossed.
Good things,
Maureen
