Other than a riding hat with plumes and jewels, Louise Juliana is complete. I decided after a few good conversations at aedult swim. Fabric painting the underdress could have been another method in period for the underdress to have a patty. So in this case the underdress is both painted and embroidered. Nice to display a combination of techniques for this project.
Hoping to add her information to combined doll documentation. So steadily making progress the others in process are sculpted just need sanding and more sculpting this week going to be awhile before dressing them. More to look forward to completing in the near future.
It’s so nice to see the progress that can be made in a short amount of time . Much of the materials I already had on hand at home. So most of this has cost very little money. Especially since I have been accumulating materials for nearly a decade. Plus with generous friends who have eagle eyes for miniature trim lace and other doll related items. It makes thus journey easier to complete and it’s always fun with friends. Thank you THL Aibell Diamarta and THL Vivienne of yardley for your contributions to the miniature mayhem.
For Louise Juliana I am pleased on how she turned out. I wasn’t sure with the paint, if it was a wise choice. Glad I tried it out and in the end worked out for the better. It would be month before coating the fabric in embroidery would have been complete. Plus I feel it looks like the painting this way. Hoping all the next ones turn out just as pleasant. Here is to continued inspiration,
THL Marrin O’Kealy
